Thanks to all of you, whoever you are and wherever you may be, for sticking with me during my first full day of blogging a major news event.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself today, and hopefully I was successful in conveying that energy to you.

The Iowans I encountered were by and large genuinely cool people. I wish them all well.
