		<description>I'll bite on this one! Yes, the Republicans definitely over-reacted. If they had just kept their mouths shut and let Rep. Davis' comment speak for itself, she would have been the one who took whatever flak resulted. 

Instead the Republican representatives are the ones on the defensive now. Even if she HAD explicitly mentioned race, her comment should have been left to stand on its own merits (or lack thereof). 

Sounds like everyone is getting a little testy over at the Statehouse these days. Can't say that I blame them, though.</description>
