The Winnebago County Board voted today to approved new single member districts.

The vote also raised County Board members salary from a maximum $7,500 annually to a maximum $8,500 annually. The voice vote was overwhelmingly in favor with only a few scattered “no” votes.

After the vote, Democrat George Anne Duckett complimented Republican County Board Chairman Scott Christiansen on leading a fair redistricting process.
