Export to China-Update #3

July 9th, 2008 at 12:21pm Bob Trojan

Received several drawings by e-mail to quote.  Pretty quick trunaround though from our first contact.

Lots of Chinese symbols, but number are numbers These are in metric so the conversion shouldn’t be too difficult. The style isn’t quite what we manufacture, so we’ll try to match their design with ours and see how we compare price and delivery to the sources they are using. My guess is that they are buying from a European based manufacturer.  With the yuan strengthening against the dollar, maybe we can be price competitive.  Quantities are low volumes as is typical in our business.  At least we’ll quote a product that meets fit, form and function.

Never know until you try!  Stay tuned.
