The “cash for clunkers” program recently launched appears to be well received by the buyers of new autos. Hopefully, the government will find these additional funds, maybe switching them from one pocket into this pocket so as not to create more debt. If this sells new cars, the car guys will have to build more new ones, putting more people back to work…and creating the impetus for supplier chain capital investments.  Clunkers
