So Why do we need more Unions?

 Chuck Sweeny’s article  here  says all should tighten their belts.  From what I’ve seen, these unions haven’t budged one bit.  So why should Congress pass a “card check” bill making it easier for unions to become organized?

It stands to reason that many companies who are working short hours or short workweeks will merely add hours but not personnel.  Then overtime will be used to expand production again.

I think many companies will be looking for ways to avoid adding personnel until all the health and cap & trade issues are resolved.   Jobs
