perhaps…. but perhaps the biggest harm to Americans is caused by \"stress\", creating high blood pressure and heart problems. Stress caused by those insisting that we end the economic advantage that Illinois has with its coal resources, which help the exports of America. Stress caused by those who make sure we can not drill in the USA, producing oil which makes plastic and helps us to compete with China. Stress caused by those who want to change our health system, which is the best in the world and best in Rockford and Illiinois. now this with wind farms. More stress

Stress with wind farms? We don’t live underground in coal mines, so why should we live with wind turbines on top of our homes? It just makes no sense, not to mention that coal is much cheaper, along with nuclear and hydro (where available). I can’t wait until the next administrations. 2010 will be the first turning point. If Rockford puts all of its eggs into this basket, then it could be doomed for a much longer time. We need to get Springfield to stop raising taxes on regular, conventional industry!! My city manager friend tells me that competition is hard enough with Iowa as it is with China, notwithstanding the fact that both states have pursued “green” technology.
