    Worse yet are productivity gains that were made over this period, employers are not likely to “give back” to employees.

    The real problem is government employees who are not giving nothing back yet they enjoy annual wage increase, generous medical plans at no cost and great pensions. They are the ones who should be “giving back” some of their compensation, lest these governments go broke.
