Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube for Manufacturers

I attended a very interesting seminar conducted by Amy Hudson, FMA that was aimed at manufacturers. With the growth of these internet tools, initially for social purposes, they seem to be becoming an addition to web sites, and other forms of networking.
The goal of these methods for manufacturers is to drive more traffic to your web site. With Facebook, its pretty easy to add photos and videos of your products, develop a “friends only” viewing audience and may become a major method for promoting your company. She said that Europe and Asia are moving ahead at a faster pace.
If you haven’t at least explored these tools, now is the time to get your feet wet.
