After a successful YMCA Intern Challenge here in Rockford, Bill Rancic, the Original Apprentice Winner has agreed to take part in the YMCA’s second annual Community Dinner on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The YMCA engaged 14 high school and college students over this past summer in a fully sponsored Intern Challenge, which was modeled after the television show “The Apprentice” as a way to encourage businesses and young students to engage in work together. The purpose of the YMCA’s challenge not only assisted young students, but also supported non profit agencies across Rockford.
As a part of this years “Strong Kids Campaign”, an annual fundraiser to support the YMCA of Rock River Valley, we have invited Bill Rancic to take part in the event as our main speaker. Tickets will go on sale for the event mid-January as well as opportunities to sponsor and take part in the VIP event with Bill beforehand.
