Dano was great, too -- I'm not sure why he wasn't nominated. Even the kid who played Plainview's son, H.W., was really fine. His quiet performance was just the right counterpart to Day-Lewis. Bardem was nominated, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins. He was amazing, and he's the one everyone seems to be talking about. Hokum — I completely agree with you on Daniel Day Lewis. If Daniel Day Lewis doesn't get the Oscar for his performance the fix is in. There's a reason he's the worlds best living film actor. Of course Paul Dano was no slouch in the film either. The man can be multifaceted. In fact, there is a lot of cross over between Hollywood and poltiics. Like, last night at the Democratic debate. CNN stopped Jason Alexander and asked him about his views on the election. Man, I am so glad I heard that. Will, what's Jason up to today? And, who you think he'll vote for?
