Wait a minute! ZACK AND MIRI is about WHAT???
January 30th, 2009 at 11:55am Will Pfeifer
According to Cinematical, mega-retailer Wal-Mart has urged Kevin Smith to remove the word “porno” from the DVD case of his movie, ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, and Smith has agreed.
Sure, this keeps innocent young eyes from glimpsing the word “porno” in the title of an R-rated film, but as the article says, it raises another issue — “What happens when one of the unsuspecting few buy it and then get the rude awakening of a movie alllll about sex and porn?”

This will only be for the Wal-Mart version, and let’s face it, who cares what those customers think. These are the same kinds of customers who actually prefer fullscreen versions to widescreen.

You know, I’m honestly surprised (and disappointed) they still sell fullscreen versions of movies. I hope once everyone has a widescreen TV, they’ll finally stop that nonsense.

I received the first two Bourne movies in fullscreen as a Christmas gift. They are still wrapped in the plastic.

Will, thanks! These weren’t even received last Christmas, I believe they were from 2 years ago. But that’s not the record for me having a plastic wrapped DVD, that record belongs to Armegeddon which came free with my PS2 purchased around it’s initial launch..

The Z & M ad in Target was missing the ” make a porno” in the product shot.
