I just discovered this, so I apologize for linking to it with the month halfway over, but Turner Classic Movies features a “podcast” — really more of a video of a roundtable discussion — that puts the spotlight on that channel’s June programming event, “Great Directors.” The talk includes mentions of lesser-known directors such as Sam Wood and Ernst Lubitsch (plus a personal favorite, Jacques Tourneur, the man behind CAT PEOPLE, OUT OF THE PAST and NIGHT OF THE DEMON), as well as more well-known folks like Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. (TCM is showing GOODFELLAS this Friday — and airing it uncut.)

Notice the cardboard cutout of TCM host Robert Osbourne in the background — nice touch!
