Following up on this post, here are three more contenders for my list of the best movies of the past 10 years. Can you guess ‘em?
I don’t think 1 and 2 are too tough, but I’ll be impressed if anyone can name No. 3. Make your guesses in the comments.

the first two are CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND and ZODIAC. the third looks like a guy maddin movie to me with my guess going to THE SADDEST MUSIC IN THE WORLD. i don’t think that is the correct answer though.

Correct on the first two, and very, very close with that third guess. Right director, in fact.

the only other one of maddin’s i’ve seen is BRAND UPON THE BRAIN and i don’t think this is from that.

You guys are naming every Maddin movie but the one that still is from. (BRAND UPON THE BRAIN, SADDEST MUSIC and MY WINNIPEG are all among some of my favorite movies of the decade, but this Maddin movie topped ‘em all.)

No — that’s from the 1980s, believe it or not. This movie dates back to right around 2003…
