Movie Man
When film critic Will Pfeifer isn’t watching movies, he’s reading about movies, talking about movies, thinking about movies or dreaming about movies. Now he shares that unhealthy obsession with you. From Hollywood hits to Japanese obscurities, from Oscar night to the summer season, he’s got movies on the brain — and on this blog.

About the Movie Man

Will Pfeifer has been writing about films, DVD and videotapes (remember those?) at the Register Star since 1994. He’s pitted his own Oscar picks against the readers (some years more successfully than others), spent an entire weekend at local theaters and has a DVD collection that probably dwarfs yours in both size (600 and counting) and strangeness (do you own a copy of “The Last House on Dead End Street?). And if all that doesn’t qualify him to blog about movies, there’s this: He was a zombie extra in the 1988 no-budget horror classic “The Dead Next Door.”
