A Valley of Redemption

I’m a very happy person right now. This is especially surprising considering that just several days ago I was mired in an almost unbreakable depression. There was a day in late October that seemed to serve as the nexus of all the bad news I could have in a single year. It was tough but some good news started to flow and now everything is up and running and going well. The good news started with a recording session at Darkhouse Studios as it is always fun to be there, recording music, hanging with the guys, etc. But the zenith of all my joy is…after all of the unbelievable, inconceivable, and seemingly irreversible agony that was the “NIU fiasco” - it’s all been put to rest. It’s over. Done. In the books. Ancient history - confirmed in a letter from the University itself that there are no outstanding financial/grade related issues with regards to a class I took last Spring. Officially, I’m able to go to NIU again - or another University of my choosing I suppose - but honestly, more importantly for me right now, I’ve rid myself of an ever increasing burden - for good. On to more pressing matters to and issue that matters most to me right now. In a previous edition of the Go NOW I wrote about the communication I’ve had with the Valley Forge, the official newspaper of Rock Valley College. Well, this is a message to anyone and everyone who has an ability to communicate within RVC or to the paper directly. If you’re one of these people, can you tell them I’d like to talk to them? Cool.
