I’ll be praying

It’s true. I’ll say a little prayer for the green and gold Sunday morning. And I’m sure I won’t be the only one. Here’s a prayer (words always adjusted for the next big game) that gets circulated in e-mails a lot. (This won’t be the one I say. I like to come up with my own.)

Our Favre,
Who art in Lambeau,
Hallowed be thine arm.
The bowl will come,
It will be won.
In Arizona as it is in Lambeau.
And give us this Sunday,
Our weekly win.
And give us many touchdown passes.
But do not let others pass against us.
Lead us not into frustration,
But deliver us to Arizona.
For thine is the MVP, the best of the NFC,
and the glory of the Cheeseheads,
now and forever.
