What a Giants fan thinks of Green Bay

This is fun. Normally, as a Giants fan in the Midwest, I’m stuck on the sidelines while Packers and Bears fans fight it out. But now I get to weigh in and trash talk for my team.
But, honestly? I don’t have much trashing to do. Because I have no beef with the Packers. They had a rivalry with the Giants in the 30s, 40s and 60s. But that’s it. In the modern Super Bowl era, there have only been eight seasons when both teams had winning records. This is only the fourth time both teams made the playoffs in the same year since the Super Bowl started. They’ve never even faced each in the playoffs in those four decades!
I hate the Cowboys and the Redskins and the Eagles because they’re in our division. I hate the Jets for obvious reasons. I hate the 49ers because we’ve faced them in the playoffs more than any other team.
The Packers? I respect them. I love that they’re community-owned, that they’re still in a “small town” and that they represent all the good parts of football tradition.
I’m just gonna be yelling my fool head off Sunday hoping they lose. Is that too much to ask?
