Halftime high

That halftime brat shouldn’t taste all that bad, huh?
The second quarter was as encouraging as the first one was blah. Green Bay made only one big play, but it was enough to race to a 10-6 halftime edge.
Also encouraging was the way the defense slowed down the Giants. Eli Manning was poised to manage another scoring drive before halftime, only to have A.J. Hawk sack him on a fourth-down play to basically end the half.
Looks like the Packers’ biggest task at halftime is to issue an APB for Ryan Grant. He had 12 yards on 7 carries, just a little behind his production last week when he had 201 yards and 3 TDs.
