Have you ever thought about pursuing a career in health care but were just not sure if it was right for you? If so, Rock Valley College and the three Rockford-area health systems invite you to learn more about the many exciting health care career options available to you by coming out to the annual Health Care Career Fair.
The Health Care Career Fair will take place from 4:30 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 26 and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27 in the Physical Education Center on the Rock Valley College main campus.
While it is important to note that this event is not a job fair, there are still plenty of things for attendees of all ages to see and do.
Representatives from all four sponsoring organizations will be on site engaging those in attendance from interactive booths representing a wide array of health care careers, including:
- Nursing- RN, LPN, CNA
- Rehabilitation Careers
- Respiratory Care
- Laboratory Science
- Emergency Medical Services
- Surgical Technology
- Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy
- Dental Hygiene
- Pharmacy
- Sleep Center
- Athletic Training/Sports Medicine
- Women’s and Children’s Health
In addition to these hands-on exhibits, those who attend the fair will learn about the education and skills needed to pursue the medical career that interests them, and will have an opportunity to talk to real students and professionals in each field!
There is no cost to attend.
