Rip ‘em every day

My boss, Linda Grist Cunningham, said at this morning’s Editorial Board meeting that we could criticize the governor, Mike Madigan and Emil Jones every day as far as she was concerned.
It probably won’t do any good, but it’s a nice thought.
The performance of the trio is unacceptable, but the feud between Madigan and Blagojevich is particularly troublesome. Jones has his own agenda, which mostly falls in line with the governor’s
Madigan, however, seems intent on getting rid of the governor. Remember the impeachment memo?
Meanwhile there’s a state to run. A state whose park system is deteriorating, whose medical providers don’t get paid in a timely manner, whose roads and bridges continue to fall into disrepair, and I could go on and on (and have.)
Our only recourse is to vote them out of office. Doubt that would happen with Madigan or Jones. We had our chance with Blago, but blew it.
Where do we go from here?

If we could have the foresight to elect a business friendly gov, like bill brady, and not the usual suspects all the old cronies want to see be elected so they may be able to enhance their status, we may be able to make some progress.
