Where is the mayoral debate supposed to be streaming live? I see about a hundred different video-ad windows, but no debate. What a shame.

    A question for the debate:

If you were mayor, how would you address the critical need for decent, affordable housing for the growing number of low income families with children in Rockford? The current administration has eliminated dozens of apartments, through the demolition of public housing units, and has announced plans to demolish hundreds of other units. What would you do to help those who cannot afford market rate apartments or houses?

I would like to know where the candidates or the candidates’s parties get their funding for their campaigns.

    Thank you.

    A question for the panel:

Recently, Rockford lost out to Dubuque, IA Deon on an opportunity to bring jobs from IBM. My questions are:

    1. In our own opinion, why did Rockford miss out?

    2. What will you do as mayor to insure this doesn’t happen again?

crime is an issue in rockford, I would just like to know if any of the candidates have ever been a victim of crime and what they plan on doing to fix this issue.
