Is it the guy who steels something out of your garage or is it a guy who tries to wipe out your life savings? I would guess your average burglar does so because he — and they’re mostly men — doesn’t have a job, doesn’t know how to get a job, and doesn’t know what else to do. He also may be lazy and unmotivated to work an eight-hour day.
