I’ve learned from my many years of experience in this business that some pols, like the late Zeke Giorgi, Paul Simon and Everett Dirksen, are good, some, are so-so, some, like George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich, are downright awful.
Some are in it only to stroke their monumental egos, some are in it to improve their community, state or nation, some couldn’t find a real job, and some like to sleep a lot.
Politicians are a microcosm of the human race. That’s what I’ve learned from my years of experience.

I agree with you on this. But I find it funny you never complained about the press ignoring more important issues to concentrate on negative coverage of Hillary. You really do seem to be in LOVE with Barach Obama. I have nothing against him, but a man with your experience should know that politicians are pretty much all the same. There’s no reason to fall in love with any of them. They’ll all let you down. They all make terrible decisions to pander.
