I've actually interviewed Obama several times, once for an hour and a half, when he was running for the Senate and wasn't being given much of a chance. At the time he was at 3 percent in the Illinois polls. I was impressed at his command of major issues confronting both Illinois and the country. I've also interviewed McCain at some length, back when he was flogging a book at the old Media Play. I was similarly impressed with his depth of knowledge and his fearlessness; as he put it, he'd already been in hell, (the Hanoi Hilton for 5 plus years) so he considered every day after his release to be a gift. Likewise, I've interviewed Hillary, back when she was campaigning for her husband back in 92. What I don't like about her is her husband and the whole Clinton gang of grifters. .
