Yes, I can see where Bobby Jindal would be an excellent choice because of his youth, background and appeal to the constituencies that haven't quite warmed to McCain yet (e.g. social conservatives). However, I would hate to see Jindal taken away from Louisiana just as he's making great strides in ending the endemic corruption that has plagued their state. If he can succeed there, maybe there's still hope for Illinois someday! I’m relieved.
