Biden would be best Obama veep pick

Obama’s veep should be Delaware Sen. Joe Biden. And that might be the ticket, but there’s no guarantee. Here’s why I think it should be Biden: He has extensive foreign policy experience, something Obama lacks. Plus, Biden’s a forceful speaker who has been a candidate for president in his own right. Yes, yes, I know he once stole a speech from Labour’s Neil Kinnock, but Neil never became prime minister, anyway.
Biden has been in theCommunauté urbaine de Rock Dunk at least once; it was in the 1970s and he was a freshman senator. Then Winnebago County Treasurer Doug Aurand brought Biden to a fundraiser picnic at one of those ethnic or service clubs on the Kishwaukee River, I don’t remember which one. Anyway, I met Biden, who had a good time at the picnic.
I haven’t seen him in person since t hen, but I have seen Biden hundreds of times on TV. He would certainly add gravitas to the Obama campaign. (Oh, I almost forgot. Biden was also the guy who said that Obama was clean and articulate. He’ll have to avoid that kind of stuff, although you can’t fault his accuracy.)

Chuckles - Obama’s foreign policy inexperience is only one part of his challenge. There are some people (well, me) who need to understand how two years in the Ill. state legislature qualifies him to run a trillion dollar bureauocracy. He can help his case with me if his chooses someone with governing experience.
