Christiansen cash register: Ring, ring, ring, ring.

In the Winnebago County Board chairman’s race, Chairman Scott Christiansen, a Republican, is raking in the cash despite the fact that his Democratic opponent Paul Gorski, a County Board member, has still not even raised the $3,000 required to file a report with the state board of elections.

This is good info Chuck, but I have to ask why are you not reporting any of the dissclosure irregularities from another county-wide candidates, Bill Crowley? Crowley’s failure to fully disclose his contributions electronically, by instead filing them on paper seems elusive. According to the State Board of Elections website the information only shows amounts, not who gave. Who is giving him $9,000 in loans? Where is he getting $60,000 of in in-kind contributions? I was told by the State Board of Elections that if I am to get copies of them, I can only send them cash or money order. Not very convienent. Doesn’t election law have something to say about this type of activity?
