Airport to get $300,000 for aerospace, energy ed building from House appropriations bill

Update on last post:
Rich Carter of Congressman Don Manzullo’s office tells me that RFD will get $300,000 for its aerospace education building (see previous post) from the appropriations bill currently in Congress.

Good work by Rep Manzullo. This is how using our tax dollars can actually help create jobs, which is what the stimulus bill should have done. The aerospace industry is going to be booming for years, and this is good for Rockford to position for that!

At least it isn’t $30+million to save a San Fransisco mouse. This will help PEOPLE.
