Manzullo to Pelosi — Tear Up This Bill.
November 6th, 2009 at 09:40am Chuck Sweeny
U.S. Rep. Don Manzullo, R-Egan, joined the Bachmann-Levin Overdrive rally Thursday on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, to denounce the Democrats’ 1,990 page health care bill, which Speaker Nancy Pelosi will call for a vote Saturday.
(Bachman is U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, and Levin is neocon radio host Mark Levin.)
Manzullo’s speech was brief, but he use the word “revolution” and invoked Ronald Reagan’s Berlin Wall speech: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall. Madame Speaker, tear up this bill.”
At the same event, Republican House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Michigan, read what he called the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, a 1787 document. Problem is, he was reading from the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, a July 4, 1776 document.
No word on what Manzullo thought of the giant banner in the crowd that pictured dead bodies at the Dachau concentration camp and labeled the picture “National Socialist Health Care, Dachau, 1945.”

Does Manzullo believe that the U.S. is the only industrialized country in the world that is still free because we are the only industrialized country in the world that does not have universal health care?
How bizarre and desperate are the arguments going to become in order to preserve profits for the insurance trusts?

Wow. the republicans sit on the sidelines for more than six months and are surprised that the bill moved forward without them? We send them to Washington to compromise on the best possible solution and they did nothing. What did they think would happen? I wonder if the right is half as mad yet as I was when W sent troops into Iraq.

#2: If you check the facts, Pelosi and her Demos locked out the Republicans from participating in the bill’s preparation. Read the fine print as these bills were developed and moved through the House and Senate.
#1: It more a case of keeping government OUT of controlling our lives. When Jefferson became President, he reduced this size of the government of his time. He would roll over in his grave if he saw what today’s government has become.

This is not so much a healthcare bill, as it is a massive government power grab. It will allow Federal control over a significant part of the lives of ALL Americans, And, in the opinion of many, it violates the principles of our Constitution.

Ahhh, Mr. Trojan provides another example of Republican hypocrisy. The government should stay out of our lives except for when it’s giving manufacturers like his, huge tax breaks and providing bailouts for poorly-run businesses like Chrysler and GM. Oh, and I’m waiting on Manzullo to tell us that he’s going to turn down his government insurance and pay for it himself. And, Mr. Trojan, I’m hoping you’ll do the same with regard to Medicare.

Pelosi is about as un-American, un-Constitutional, and pro-Marxism as it gets (outside of Illinois).

What about Obama’s H1N1 vaccine fiasco? This vaccine is being RATIONED, with the elderly way down on the list to get it. Think about that for a minute. Won’t the exact same thing happen, on a much larger scale, if ObamaCare goes into effect, and $500 billion is cut from MediCare?
BTW, what happened to the media hyping the H1N1 pandemic? Once people started to blame the Obama Administration for the vaccine shortages, it was no longer front-page news.

Check your medical info., Snuss. Only elderly, WITH UNDERLYING CONDITIONS, are in the high-risk groups. http://www.flu.gov/individualfamily/seniors/index.html
And, since the Obama Admin. is not responsible for the manufacture of the vaccines, then I’m not sure how you can blame them. Do a little reading about how the flu vaccines are manufactured each year and then render some misguided opinions.
That’s the problem with most of the posters on these blogs. They never let facts get in the way of crazy opinion.

Monkey sez: “And, since the Obama Admin. is not responsible for the manufacture of the vaccines, then I’m not sure how you can blame them.”

So, were you Lefties lying then, or are you lying now?
Or both, as usual?
