About Chuck Sweeny

Chuck is from Rockford and still lives there. However, he also spent several years in Chicago and nearly two years in England, so he knows about life outside the Forest City Time Warp.

Chuck reads these newspapers each day online: The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent and The Times from the UK, the NYTimes, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune from the U.S.; and the Toronto Star from Canada. He also reads news magazines and political blogs from a variety of political viewpoints.

Chuck, a Rockford Auburn High School alumnus, is a political science and history graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago

He’s also a keyboard player who has played in a lot of rock ‘n’ roll bands over the years.
