Where’s Obama during crises, out campaigning of course!

On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, a U.S. State Department official was killed in an attack by Muslims on our consulate in Libya in the city of Benghazi. The U.S. consulate was burned down.

In another Muslim action against the U.S. embassy in Cario, Egypt, our embassy was attacked, our flag taken down and torn apart and a black Muslim flag put in its place. The attacks were justified by the attackers because of a You-Tube video that the Muslims found offensive.

Where’s Obama? Has he issued any statement about further attacks on American soil by Muslim terrorists on 9/11 of all days? Of course not, he’s out campaigning, as he has been for the last three years.

The first official comment from the State Department through the Embassy was an apology to the Muslims for the video on You-Tube, attacking the individuals responsible for the video - what’s new – another Obama apology tour.

These terrorists can cross our borders, which are like a sieve due to the Obama border policies, with any weapon, including nuclear devices. What does Obama do – nothing presidential, because he’s running for president to do nothing again!

Obama is too busy to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu when he comes to the U.S. shortly facing a crisis with Iran manufacturing nuclear material to make bombs to annihilate them. Israel has inferred they will attack Iran soon, if the U.S. doesn’t take a stand with one of their staunchest allies – but Obama’s schedule is simply too busy.

Obama has only met with his cabinet a few times since the beginning of the year and there are reports that he has been missing from over half of his Daily intelligence briefings with a surrogate sitting in for him, while out on the campaign trail.

Where is Obama while the United States approaches the fiscal cliff with $16T in debt, further threats of bond rating cuts by Moody’s, a looming restoration of the Bush tax cuts for the largest tax increase ever during a recession, which could cause a double-dip recession – playing golf or campaigning – that’s where.

Billions of dollars in cuts to the military budget are possible, while we are being attacked again by Muslim terrorists, this time in Egypt and Lybia and with our servicemen and women being killed by “friendly” forces in Afganistan, while we are withdrawing from the conflict and Obama is campaigning, or raising money for his campaign.

President Obama get off the campaign trail and get back to Washington and do the job you were elected to do. If getting reelected his Obama’s primary goal, what makes Democrats think he will do his job any differently in a second term – unless his goal was to destroy America, as we know it!

Another eye-opener. Telling lies for the Republicans drive him nuts.

shawnnews – what does this book have to do with Obama fiddling while America burns? There are liars on both sides of the political spectrum or at the bare minimum they sure stretch the truth or present only facts they want you to see – so what? ABC, NBC and CBS have been doing that for decades. It doesn’t change the fact that Obama keeps campaigning no matter what crisis this country faces!

Ted wrote: “Adam, the Obama administration has changed the First Amendment regarding religious freedom.”

There has been no constitutional amendment during the Obama administration, so the first amendment stands unchanged. You should know this.

Let’s recapitulate this dialogue. You want to think that Obama apologized to the Muslims in response to the attack on the embassy in Benghazi and when I pointed out that that’s completely inaccurate, you first said “does it matter?” and then when you refused to acknowledge that you were wrong you called me a nit-picker.

While uninterested in discussing term limits or anything substantive that would eliminate the need for a sitting president to campaign for reelection, you basically said that you want Republicans to campaign and not Democrats.

Does that all sound accurate, Ted?

Adam, there was no constitutional amendment passed. I would think we would all feel better if there had been an amendment passed, at least we wouldn’t be under a dictator who goes around the Constitution, without approval of Congress, to tell religious organizations how they will act and what they will do under his rule with respect to healthcare. But that, according to the Wizard of Oz – is horse of a different color – and has nothing again to do with the post.

Here is what some think our president has done to deserve the topic of the post – so long ago that some seem to have forgotten the issue – the president is campaigning regardless of the crisis.

I don’t know if anyone claimed the word “apology” was used.

The right-wing noise machine is responsible for every obfuscation of what people think Obama is doing. It’s not in their club’s interest to say that the US embassy was unjustly attacked. They must include fantasies about how soldiers weren’t permitted to use live ammo. They must insinuate that people at the embassy were told to apologize for American values. So really what these people ate doing is using the unjust death of Americans to further smear the president and not assail his policies, but to convince people of the falsehood that the president isn’t really doing anything. My link is the story of a defector who wrote a book on how these guys play. The first thing to do is get them to believe the free market media is all in the bag for the Dems.

  6. kind of like the link you provided that claimed the Stonehenge for the Air force was false?

That was in his book, if I remember. Yes, he drove himself crazy being a closeted gay spinning lies. I didn’t think the link was claiming the outdoor worship center was fake — you yourself pointed out the discrepancy was price.
    Have a good night.

  8. Shawnnews that is the rub, the story was true, but the left spun it, giving the impression to the reader that it was false.

    Speaking of Brock.

“Emails reveal Justice Dept. regularly enlists Media Matters to spin press”

“Internal Department of Justice emails obtained by The Daily Caller show Attorney General Eric Holder’s communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and America’s top law enforcement agency.”

One right-leaning site accusing the left-leaning one of spinning for its political party isn’t a scandal to me or an eyebrow raiser. However, they would be spinning stories the mainstream free-market media is doing, if your article is correct. Which would undercut any claim that the MSM is in the bag for Obama — he wouldn’t need to deflect media attention from the DOJ if they were his lap dogs.

  10. Shawn, you forget one thing: Before an organization like Media Matters can achieve nonprofit status, per Section 501(c)(3) of the tax code — it may not “attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities” or “participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.”. They broke the law, flagrantly.

  11. On a related note…..

A college professor has been placed on leave after she allegedly forced her class to sign a pledge to vote for President Obama in the upcoming elections.

Early last week Professor Sharon Sweet at Brevard Community College (BCC) allegedly told students to sign a pledge that reads: “I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.”

The pledge was printed off of GottaVote.org, a website funded by the Obama campaign.

University administrators said they learned about the incident late Thursday afternoon and launched an investigation, after they received a phone call from a concerned parent.

“Based on the allegations, Associate Professor Sweet has requested, and been granted, a leave of absence without pay effective immediately,” reads a statement put out by John Glisch, Associate Vice President for Communications at BCC.

“The college will continue its investigation into the matter, which will include interviews with all students in her class,” continues the statement.

weet’s actions may have also violated Florida’s election laws.

Section 104.31, of Title IX in chapter 104, states that “no officer or employee of the state… shall… use his or her official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with an election or nomination of officer or influencing another person’s vote or affecting the result thereof.”

But, Democrats don’t care about no stinkin’ laws.
