Just wanted everyone to know that the interview I had with ESPN last month - they also interviewed Auburn HS sports officials and athletes - will air on ESPN2, Comcast channel 61 or 924 in HD this Sunday at 9:00AM Rockford time on the Emmy Award-winning “Outside the Lines” program.
It’s one half hour and deals with 2.0 GPA versus IHSA requirements of 5D’s and 2F’s to participate in athletics. Should be interesting. I previously posted that ESPN also seemed interested in education as well as sports.
It should be fair and balanced. It will also be shown later this week, but the date hadn’t been set at this time.
