Not the “change” Obama supporters had “hoped” for
The following changes have taken place since January 9, 2009 to election day November 6, 2012.
Gas Prices were $1.84 per gallon, now $3.69 per gallon, if you can even purchase gas in hurricane Sandy’s aftermath on the Eastern coast.
Obviously FEMA is not doing any better after Sandy, than government did after Katrina in the South – no change or hope there. No attacks from the media about the administration, because it’s Obama not Bush!
Unemployment was 7.8%, now 7.9% despite $800B stimulus spending and 24 million people out of work or underemployed. If those who gave up looking for work were counted in the total, unemployment would be over 12%! Hispanics unemployment rate last month was 10% and for balcks was 14.3% – They are all “hoping” that will “change”.
Food Stamp recipients increased from 31.9 Million to 46.7 Million people
People in poverty increased from 39.8 Million, to 46.2 Million in the U.S.
Poverty rate increased from 13.2% to 15% of Americans in less than 4 years.
National Debt was $10.6 Trillion, increased to $16.2 Trillion dollars in only one term and the first president to preside over a cut in the credit rating of the U.S. ever in peacetime and probably wartime!
First president to sue states for requiring valid ID’s to vote
First president to terminate America’s ability to put an American into space
Presided over a government attempting to tell a company where they could locate a plant – Boeing – must not be in a right-to-work state
No energy policy, no energy policy but many bankrupt green companies
Budgets each year, currently no budget in over three years
Promises made, promises broken over the entire four years
Promised Shovel ready jobs, denies permits for Keystone Pipeline
Promised to bring us together, now one of the most divisive presidents ever
Promised no tax increase < $250,000, raised taxes on everyone
Commander-in-chief is ready to cut $100’s of Billions from the military despite promise to protect and defend – didn’t defend Lybia!
Promised most transparant government – how many press conferences?
First president to golf more than 100 times and continually campaigned for at least the last three years while in office, with the fiscal cliff looming just around the corner.
Last but not least, the president is the redistributer-in-chief, who takes the money that an employee earned in 2009, redistributes that money from the middle class to his supporters in the name of fairness, when it is really class hate being espoused by the president.
