The “Basket of Deplorables” election revolution

The so-called Basket of Deplorables and the millions of forgotten people, who were either left behind or unemployed during the “economic recovery,” led Tuesday’s election day revolution. The deplorables voted for Donald Trump for president because: Trump led the revolution against the Establishment Republican and Democratic parties, who continued to maintain the status quo with respect to globalization, regardless of the unlevel playing field in trade, jobs and lack of international respect for America, which was in sharp...

Modesto College stops student from passing out copies of the Constitution on Constitution Day

Security at Modesto Junior College in California, where else, stops student from passing out copies of the Constitution in front of the student center on Constitution day. I kid you not! Excerpt: Robert Van Tuinen captured his furious, but civil, confrontation with the officer and campus administration on video and posted it on YouTube. First, security told the student he could only hand out copies of the constitution in the free speech area of the campus, and was then told by an administrator in the Student Development and Campus Life office...

Rockford Public Library’s amnesty too lenient with taxpayer’s money

An inexcusable 62% of the library’s  57,554 cardholders owe the library for overdue returns or lost items. To put this embarrassment into its proper perspective, tardy or dropout library patrons don’t owe the library a thing. They owe the taxpayers who fund the library. It’s our money that’s being abused and our books and devices that haven’t been returned, not the city’s....

The student simply said that being gay was against his beliefs and the teaching of his religion and he could not condone the behavior. The teacher said his speech was a form of bullying and asked the student to leave the classroom or face suspension....

DOJ continues its assault on American’s First Amendment rights

Today’s Human Events reports that the Department of Justice continues their assault on the First Amendment rights of American citizens, this time an individual’s right of Freedom of Speech versus the DOJ’s previous assaults on the Freedom of the Press consisting of threats and intimidation of AP and Fox investigative reporters. This stuff could have been taken directly from George Orwell’s novel, “1984” in which Newspeak and thought control were prevalent in Big Brother’s Inner Party, in which a...

California passes bill to let non-citizens serve on juries!

The California legislature passed a bill this week that would make the state the first of many blue states in the nation to allow non-citizens who are in the country legally to serve on jury duty. The government lets non-citizens serve in the military. It’s simply a small step to no doubt justify voting by non-citizens in the near future. Who needs a comprehensive immigration law, when we have California politicians? Is the U.S. Constitution used in California anymore – anywhere? Have non-citizens studied the laws of the land or...
