		<description>Although I can't take the day trip (unless they offer it in 2009:)  ), I do highly recommend Deadwood, South Dakota. I had temporary duty at Ft. Meade, just outside of Sturgis, back in '02. One day we headed up to Mt. Rushmore on U.S. 16, did the tour, then headed north on U.S. 385 to Deadwood to the Midnight Star Casino, owned by Kevin Costner (and where I actually had a rare lucky streak on the slots). From Deadwood to Rapid City Airport I think is no more than an hour drive.</description>
