A couple of notes about vivaAerobus
September 16th, 2008 at 11:59am Thomas V. Bona
Two recent news items about vivaAerobus, the ultra-low-cost airline that Chicago Rockford International Airport has been courting:
- The Monterrey, Mexico, airport - vivaAerobus’ home base - has ended the incentive program that the airline took advantage of. No word from the airline if that means any pullback in its expansion plans. The airline did agree to the ending of the program, so it may not be a big deal.
- Meanwhile, vivaAerobus just started shuttle bus service from downtown San Antonio and Austin to their airports. So it seems they’re at least in the Texas market for real.
