I mean, official? It really goes deep. It starts with the President of the U.S. not wanting us to know who established the energy policy (still wondering whatever happened to that). Doesn't want us to know who was involved in firing U.S. Attornys and who ratted out Valerie Plame. Then there's Congress who sneaks stuff that the citizens don't want into bills without discussion or public record. Now it's county board members that don't want to have their stupidity preserved for posterity. How did we ever create this class of rule-by-devine-right officials and when did we do it?
