Here’s the list of the worst movies of the year, as compiled by the staff of the Onion AV Club.
I’m proud to say that the only movie I’ve seen on this list is “The Zookeeper.” I’m ashamed, however, to admit that I saw it in theater.
My friend Tony, by the way, has a brilliant theory about the movie “Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star,” which holds the rare distinction of having a ZERO from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Tony theorizies that Adam Sandler produced this movie specifically so his awful cinema epic, “Jack and Jill,” wouldn’t take the prize as the worst movie of 2011.
I don’t want to spoil anything on the Onion’s list, but Adam might not be as clever as Tony thought.

The Change-Up does not belong on that list. Not a 4-star film by any means, but probably one of the top 5 or 10 comedies of the year.
I agree with many of the films on the list but I did like Beastly and The Change-Up agreeing with Brian. Beastly was interesting to me because of the idea of beauty in our society today. I am grateful for the heads-up about Your Highness as I was intending to live stream using Blockbuster @ Home in my hotel while on business for Dish. It’s a shame that so many movie ideas are fantastic but then the idea is slaughtered. I find myself continuing to go further back and watching older movies. Whether they are live streamed or by mail, its better than paying to see a bad movie in the theater.
